Bummer, we missed writing a September blog. I guess we’ll blame it on it’s my birthday month and went into hiding, sadly it found me anyway and I turned another year older!

Linda and I are still enjoying our travel adventures around the SW. Especially now that fall is here and the changing of the colors. We really thought by now with 6 months of traveling, we’d would miss that place everyone calls home. Between the hotels, Air BnB’s, an over the garage apartment at Rebeka’s home in Georgia and a garden cottage at Sara’s home in Oregon, we’ve enjoyed them all. It’s nice after 50 years of marriage, we can still find that compromise, experiencing wintering in Florida and the need for family time.

We’ve enjoyed our downtime in October together here at The Villages in Florida.Waking up and having that warm morning sunshine with a cup of coffee and then the blue-sky days walking and enjoying the pool. Were also getting really comfortable at jumping on the golf cart and cruising down the multi modal trails whether it be to the grocery store, health center, or dinner & entertainment.

On October 25th we have a quick action-packed cross-country trip to Oregon, to celebrate a 16th birthday for our oldest granddaughter and then pick up and transport my Rocky Mountain Elk mount that’s been hanging in Outdoor Sports store to our daughter /son-in-law new home in Georgia. We’re then traveling to Arizona to see our oldest grandson at his college in Phoenix and then reviewing a couple of State Parks in the Tucson as Timberline expands out west with a franchise.

We’ll be back in The Villages for most of November before we get into the busy holiday activities with the family and before you know it 2024 arrives. We can only pray and hope this Country gets back on track and we see a moral turnaround back to the true, “One Country under God”

Hoping and praying all our friends and family stay safe, healthy and enjoy life as much as we are.

Craig & Linda
