Mission accomplished, after 12-days traveling 6200-miles cross country through 9 States my trophy elk mount “Rocky” (pic) has a new home at our daughter's home in Georgia. The mount had been displayed in Salem OR at Sportsman Warehouse since around 2010. It is a monster rocky mountain bull elk that I killed in a Saskatchewan Canada in 2000 which scored under the Boone and Crocket scoring system ended up as the #6 largest non-typical elk in North America.

Even though it seemed like a whirl wind trip, we accomplished several things, including celebrating our granddaughter’s 16 birthday in OR, spending a little time with mine and Linda’s families along with visiting our oldest grandson in college at GCU in Phoenix AZ and exploring some potential sites for a Timberline Franchise in the Tucson area. The only thing we wished we could have accomplished is spending a little time with our friends back in OR. We’ll make that a priority on the next trip.
As much enjoyment has the trip was, it was also nice to get back to our vacation place in The Villages Fl and warm up in the 80+ degree days (pic’s), almost forgot how early the cold weather comes in Oregon. We’ll be finishing up some reviews for Timberline Glamping down here and the heading up to Georgia to spend Thanksgiving and Christmas with our daughter. We are really looking forward to Christmas as our daughter Sara and her family are flying back so we can all be together for Christmas holidays here in Georgia.

See ya in December, hoping all our family and friends have a thankful and blessed Thanksgiving and praying the Good Lord steps in to save our Country from the evil that Has taken over.
